CASINO ARIZONA AND TALKING STICK RESORT ANNOUNCE PARTNERSHIP TO HELP FEED THE COMMUNITY THIS THANKSGIVING
Those who donate non-perishable food items can win up-to $50,000.
SALT RIVER PIMA-MARICOPA INDIAN COMMUNITY, Ariz. (Nov. 4, 2021) – Casino Arizona and Talking Stick Resort, enterprises of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community (SRPMIC), are excited to announce its partnership with 12 News for its annual Turkey Tuesday promotion. Going on now through Tuesday, Nov. 23 guests can donate non-perishable food items at either property and have a chance to win up to $50,000.
On Nov. 2, Casino Arizona and Talking Stick Resort began to collect non-perishable food donations such as rice, beans, canned meat and more. Donation bins will be stationed at the Player Rewards Club at each property. The properties aim to bridge the gap between the number of Arizona families that face food insecurity, especially around the holidays. Nearly 1 million Arizonans face hunger, and that number has increased dramatically since the start of the pandemic. All of the donations made to help feed families in need will go to St. Vincent de Paul, to support its annual Turkey Tuesday food drive, the largest one-day turkey drive in the nation.
