Talking Stick Resort to Host Christmas Toy Drive Tournament on Dec. 12
Hundreds Of Toys Will Be Donated to Community Families in Need
SALT RIVER PIMA-MARICOPA INDIAN COMMUNITY, Ariz. (Dec. 2, 2021) On Sunday, Dec. 12, poker enthusiasts will have the chance to win big, while giving back this holiday season at Talking Stick Resort’s Christmas Toy Drive Tournament. As part of the annual no-limit hold’em tournament, now in its 19th year, players will bring in a new unwrapped gift to buy in. Gifts collected during the tournament will be donated to families in need on the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community.
Play in the tournament will start at 9:15 a.m. with each participant starting with $3,000 in chips for the price of their new, unwrapped gift valued at $10 or more and a $35 service fee. In return for their generosity, 40 participants have a shot at winning a portion of the $14,000 guaranteed prize pool. Players can sign up between now and the start of the tournament inside The Arena Poker Room at its main poker cage.
