TALKING STICK RESORT TO RESUME LIVE CONCERTS IN AUGUST

The Restored Roster of Upcoming Shows includes The Mavericks with Los Lobos, Daughtry, Nick Swardson and More.

SALT RIVER PIMA-MARICOPA INDIAN COMMUNITY, Ariz. (May 24, 2021) Talking Stick Resort, an enterprise of the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community, located in Talking Stick Entertainment District, today announces the return of live entertainment to its property in August, beginning with The Mavericks and Los Lobos on Friday, Aug 20.

The co-headliner show marks the first show to be hosted on the property since a temporary halt to entertainment as a result of the Coronavirus pandemic. Other shows slated through the end of the year include Daughtry, comedians Nick Swardson and Ron White as well as Hollywood Medium, Tyler Henry. The resort’s exciting entertainment lineup is slated to continue through 2022 as it welcomes superstar, Pitbull to the main pool stage.

“Live entertainment is a cornerstone of our offerings at Talking Stick Resort and we, like our guests, have truly missed it,” said Ramon Martinez, director of public relations of Talking Stick Resort. “It will be exciting to welcome music fans back to the property and safely resume the concerts and shows we love.”

As entertainment resumes, Talking Stick Resort will continue to implement safety measures during shows and throughout the property including temperature checks. Yet, some changes have been made with regard to the use of masks while on property. “The recent guidance put forth by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention as well as direction from our owner-operators, the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community has allowed us to remove the mask mandate for guests who are fully vaccinated which is a great step towards a return to normalcy,” said Martinez. “Guest and employee health and safety remain our priority and we will continue to evaluate our protocols as necessary.”

Entertainment is the latest amenity to resume operations at Talking Stick Resort. Most recently the property reopened its 14^th floor spa, The Spa at Talking Stick as well as a number of its restaurants for in-room dining including, Ocean Trail, Blue Coyote Cantina and its signature restaurant Orange Sky.
