SALT RIVER PIMA-MARICOPA INDIAN COMMUNITY, Ariz. (Jan. 24, 2019) Talking Stick Resort will welcome legendary blues guitarist and singer, Robert Cray to The Showroom on Friday, April 10. Cray is one of the most respected blues guitarists of his generation and has released 21 studio albums since 1980. His career has continued to flourish as both a solo performer and band member. Fans can experience hits like “Smoking Gun,” “Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark” and “The Forecast (Calls for Pain).”
Cray has been bridging the lines between blues, soul and R&B for the past four decades, with five Grammy wins, an induction into Blues Hall of Fame, an American Lifetime achievement award, and countless tours. His latest album, “That’s What I Heard” will be released on Friday, Feb. 28, 2020. Fans will hear new songs, “Anything You Want, “Burying Ground,” “This Man” and more this spring at Talking Stick Resort.
