SALT RIVER PIMA-MARICOPA INDIAN COMMUNITY, Ariz. (Jan. 31, 2018) Talking Stick Resort will welcome iconic classic rock band Kansas on Sunday, June 3, 2018. With 15 studio albums and five live albums, the band will have no shortage of hits to play when the group hits the stage at the resort’s Salt River Grand Ballroom.
Since forming in 1974, Kansas had developed an extensive musical catalogue. Songs like “Carry On Wayward Son” and “Dust in the Wind” had led the band to sell more than 30 million albums worldwide and has secured them a permanent place on classic rock radio. However, Kansas hasn’t rested on its laurels, the band instead has continued to create new music. Their most recent release, “The Prelude Implicit” from 2016 was the group’s highest charting release since 1986 as it landed at #14 on the Top 200 album chart and #41 on the Billboard 200.
