AUGUST ENTERTAINMENT LINE-UP AT TALKING STICK RESORT

Known for its headline entertainment, the resort is hosting an entertainment lineup that will rival all others. Below is a list of upcoming acts that are heading to the property this August. King Crimson Show Date: 8/7/21

The band’s show includes material from 12 of their 13 studio albums, including many songs from their seminal 1969 album “In the Court of the Crimson King” such as “The Court of the Crimson King”, “Epitaph”, “Moonchild” and more.

The Mavericks and Los Lobos Show Date: 8/20/21

The Mavericks: The multi-platinum, Grammy-winning, rock ‘n’ roll country-Tejano phenomenon continues to celebrate their 30^th anniversary world tour, marking three decades of uniting Latino and American music. The Maverick’s released their last studio album “Brand New Day,” in 2017 and will introduce fans to their latest hits, while thrilling them with renditions of their classic favorites when they return to the resort in August. This tour represents a celebration and from beginning to end, and the show will be packed chart-topping songs like “Dance in the Moonlight”, “Born to Be Blue”, “Back in Your Arms Again” and “All Over Again.”

Los Lobos: The journey of Los Lobos began in 1973 and has since achieved chart-topping success with “La Bamba” and multiple Grammys. They continue to impress audiences around the world with their blend of rock, Tex-Mex, country, folk, R&B, blues as well as traditional Spanish and Mexican music. Fans can hear favorite classics such as, “Shakin’ Shakin’ Shakes”, “Down On The Riverbed”, “Set Me Free (Rosa Lee)” and more. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominees will perform at the resort in August alongside The Mavericks celebrating its 46^th anniversary.

The Tubes Show Date: 8/21/21

Back by popular demand, the hometown favorites will perform a collection of their greatest hits. The Tubes, for the first time ever, have been on tour performing The Completion Backward Principle live from start to finish. In addition to playing the complete “Completion,” The Tubes’ current tour set list includes classics such as “She’s a Beauty”, “White Punks on Dope”, “Mondo Bondage”, “What Do You Want from Life” and “Out of the Business”

Herman’s Hermits starring Peter Noone Show Date: 8/27/21

Universally regarded as one of Rock and Roll’s finest and most versatile entertainers, Peter Noone is second to none! At the age of 15, Peter achieved international fame as “Herman” lead singer of the legendary pop band Herman’s Hermits. His classic hits include: “I’m Into Something Good”, “Mrs. Brown, you’ve Got A Lovely Daughter.” Noone consistently plays to sold-out venues across the globe and has a legion of faithful fans known as “Noonatics.” The “King of The Sixties” will perform favorite songs such as “Sleepy Joe”, “The End of The World” and “I’m Henry VIII, I Am” in the resort’s Showroom.
